Gary Dourdan
Gary Dourdan (born December 11, 1966 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .
Life
After high school, Dourdan was active as a musician. With his band The Bell Café , founded in 1994 , he performed in clubs. In 1992 he appeared on several episodes in College Fever , the offshoot of the Cosby Show . Two years later he got a small role in the film Headlines by Ron Howard , in which Oscar winners Robert Duvall , Marisa Tomei and Jason Robards and Glenn Close could be seen. In 1997 he was cast in Playing God and Alien . 2000 played Dourdan in a television film about Muhammad Ali Malcolm X. From 2000 to 2008 he was regularly in the very successful series CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators as Warrick Brown. Dourdan had not signed a new contract for season 9 of the series. His role was at the center of the final episode of season 8 and the first episode of season 9. At the beginning of season 9, Brown dies as a result of the gunshot wound he sustained at the end of season 8. In addition to his television work, he released two music albums under the name Kolade in 2003 and 2004.
In 2008 Dourdan was arrested for possession of cocaine and ecstasy . In 2011, he was arrested for assault after breaking his girlfriend's nose. He received a suspended sentence and was required to complete a 52-week course against domestic violence and to stay away from the victim for five years. Dourdan declared bankruptcy in 2012, with a debt to creditors of $ 1.7 million.
