Life

Gary Wright appeared on a television show as a child. In the 1960s he came to Europe (including Berlin) to study psychology . In 1967 he became a member of the Spooky Tooth group . The group broke up several times and regrouped. In the meantime, he pursued a solo career that culminated in 1976 with the hits Dream Weaver and Love is Alive . The album The Dream Weaver reached number 7 on the album charts and should remain his most successful. Until the early 1980s, he continued to release albums and singles quite successfully, which could place in the Billboard 200 album charts and the Billboard Hot 100, respectively, but he could not repeat the success of Dream Weaver . The albums released after that were far less commercially successful and no longer placed in the charts.
