Delle restaurant
The restaurant “Delle” is a two-story residential and commercial building with the address Odoakerstraße 3 in Wuppertal - Langerfeld .
Building description and history
The building dates from the late 18th century. The half-timbered house is verschiefert and with a gable roof covered. The partition is only visible to the eastern facade . With its green shutters and whitewashed soffits , it embodies the Bergisch style .
After a long, almost seven-year vacancy, the traditional restaurant was reopened on September 1, 2015 after a foreclosure auction under new management.
Monument protection
The building forms with the houses Schwelmer road 5 and 8 and the Odoakerstraße 1 a group of buildings around the Old Church and represents the historic center Langer field. On April 14, 1989, the house was a monument to the monument list entered the city of Wuppertal.
