The Gaulspitze , also called Gaulkopf , is a mountain in the Zillertal Alps . Its summit is at an altitude of 2411  m . The Gaulspitze is the last summit of the mountain range between Floite and Gunggl before the Zemmtal .

Summit cross

The summit cross was erected on August 12, 2006 on the initiative of Willi Kröll . It was manufactured according to Kröll's ideas in Erich Trinkl's metalworking shop in Mayrhofen . The cairn that marked the summit until 2006 was integrated into the summit cross.
