The Geistviertel (also: Geist or In der Geist ) is a district or statistical district of the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Lünen . It belongs to the district 1283 Lünen and is 2.17 km ^{2 in} size. As of December 31, 2015, there were 5,460 residents. In the Geistviertel, approx. 40 percent, the highest proportion of residents with a migration background in Lünen.

The district borders in the southeast on the city center and in the northeast on Lünen-Nord , in the west and southwest on Lippholthausen . To the north, the Lippe forms the natural border with the Alstedde district .
