Genaro Bermúdez

Genaro Bermúdez (born September 3, 1950 ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

career

Bermúdez played throughout the 1970s for the UNAM Pumas , with whom he won the Mexican Cup and Supercup in 1975 and the Mexican Football Championship in the 1976/77 season .

Between 1971 and 1973 Bermúdez was a regular for the Mexican national team , for which he was first used on the trip to Europe in September 1971. In his first countries game, the Mexican based a hefty 0: 5 defeat in Niedersachsenstadion of Hannover against the German National , where they already after fifteen minutes with 0: 3 were in the residue. Towards the end of the same year, Bermúdez was part of the formation of "El Tri", which won the 1971 CONCACAF Nations Cup .
