The Barangeon is a river in France that runs in the Cher department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the southern municipality of Méry-ès-Bois , drains in the upper reaches in an arc from northeast to west, finally stabilizes its flow direction at Neuvy-sur-Barangeon to the southwest and flows into the eastern outskirts of Vierzon after a total of 42 kilometers as a right tributary the Yèvre .
