Gene Reed

Gene Reed (born August 25, 1935 in Hutchinson , Kansas , † 2020 in Munich ) was an American choreographer for theater , film and television .

Vita

He started his career as a dancer in New York. At the age of 19 he went to Las Vegas , danced with Marilyn Monroe and Gene Kelly and came to Ulm as a soldier in 1958 .

After his military service in Germany , he went to Paris to stage his first choreography. Shortly afterwards, the offer came from Germany to act together with Irene Mann as head of the famous television ballet. Gene Reed has since been hailed as a star choreographer on the world's stages. With his dance productions he gave the big TV shows with Peter Alexander , Harald Juhnke , Caterina Valente , Peter Frankenfeld , Marika Rökk , Gisela Schlüter etc. a special touch in performance and perfection.

Gene Reed worked as a choreographer exclusively for Circus Krone since the mid-1990s .
