Geneva is a place in Fillmore County in the US state of Nebraska . In 2000 Geneva had 2,226 inhabitants- The city is the county seat of Fillmore County.
The historic Fillmore County Courthouse , built in 1894, features a three-story clock tower with the clock installed in 1909 by watchmaker WP McCall. The building has been extensively renovated and is on the National Register of Historic Places .

Geneva is about 25 miles south of Interstate 80 on US Highway 81 , which connects Mexico with Canada .
