Gennaro Bracigliano (born March 1, 1980 in Forbach ) is a French soccer player who is currently under contract with the Indian soccer team Chennaiyin FC . His uncle Vincent Bragicliano was also a professional footballer.

Career

Bracigliano's first club was FC L'Hôpital . There he played until 1996 before he switched to the AS Nancy youth team . There he got his first professional contract in 1999. In the meantime awarded to CS Louhans-Cuiseaux and SCO Angers , he won a regular place at AS in the following years, with whom he also played in the 2006/07 and 2008/09 UEFA Cup . For the 2011/12 season he then moved to Olympique Marseille . On March 13, 2012, he made his first game in the Champions League when he was substituted on for André Ayew in stoppage time in the second leg of the second leg against Inter Milan . Regular goalkeeper Steve Mandanda saw the red card after an emergency brake. Bracigliano couldn't save the penalty. Nevertheless, Marseille moved into the next round.

On August 21, 2014, he was signed by the ISL franchise Chennaiyin FC.
