Gennaro Costagliola
Gennaro Costagliola CM (born January 12, 1850 in Naples , † February 15, 1919 in Chieti ) was Archbishop of Chieti .
Life
Costagliola joined the Order of the Lazarists and was ordained a priest on October 26, 1875 . For his order he worked as a superior in Casale Monferrato .
Pope Leo XIII. appointed him on April 15, 1901 Archbishop of Chieti. The episcopal ordination donated him six days later Lucido Maria Cardinal Parocchi , secretary of the Holy Office . Co- consecrators were Giustino Adami , titular archbishop of Caesarea Ponti , and Carlo Caputo , prelate of Altamura-Gravina-Acquaviva delle Fonti . In 1908 an interdiocesan seminary was founded in Chieti.
