Genoveva Eichenmann (born September 12, 1957 ) is a former Swiss marathon runner .
Career
In 1984 and 1985 she won the Zurich Marathon and the Ticino Marathon, and with her second victory in Ticino, she also became the Swiss marathon champion . In 1986 and 1987 she won the Hallwilerseelauf and 1987 the Reusslauf .
In 1986 she was second in Zurich and twelfth at the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart . The following year she was tenth at the IAAF World Cup marathon and came 18th at the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987 . In 1988 she finished second in Zurich and came in 47th at the Olympic Games in Seoul .
In 1987 she was the Swiss champion in the 25 km road run and over 10,000 m .
At the World Cross Country Championships she came in 1986 in Colombier on 116th place and in 1988 in Auckland on 90th place.
