Geoffrey Moore
Geoffrey Robert Moore (born July 28, 1966 in Great Britain ) is a British restaurateur , actor and film producer .
Life
Private life
Geoffrey Moore is the son of Roger Moore , from his third marriage to the Italian actress Luisa Mattioli. His siblings Deborah Moore and Christian are or were also active in the film business. He is married to Loulou Hainsworth, who works as a broker .
Career in the film business and as a restaurateur
He had his first small film role as Wainwright in the television film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1973) with Kirk Douglas and Donald Pleasence . It followed in 1976 the role as Scott Adler , the son of Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler in the film Sherlock Holmes in New York at the side of his father, who played Sherlock Holmes there. Another collaboration with his father followed when he worked as an assistant director in James Bond 007 - In the Face of Death . Willy Bogner junior gave him his first major film role in his action film Fire, Ice & Dynamite . In 2004 Bond producer Barbara Broccoli brought him in as a candidate to succeed Pierce Brosnan for the role of James Bond, but the role was ultimately awarded to Daniel Craig .
Since 1999 he has mainly worked as a restaurateur and co-owner of the London restaurant Hush . He opened an offshoot of the Hush in Gstaad. Together with his father he produced the pilot of a remake of the television series Simon Templar .
