The Geomorfologov Peninsula ( English ; Russian Полуостров Геоморфологов Poluostrow Geomorfologow , German ' Geomorphologists Peninsula' ) is a steeply rising, 3 km long and 2 km wide peninsula on the Knox coast of the East Arctic Wilkesland . In the Bunger Hills , it is eight miles northeast of Fuller Island and four miles south of Miles Island . The peninsula is characterized by numerous small lakes and a large lake in the center.
Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped it and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated the name into English in 1992.
