Georg Albrecht (born July 24, 1989 in Leipzig ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with MEC Halle 04 from the Oberliga Ost since January 2015 . His twin brother Hannes is also an ice hockey player.

Career

Georg Albrecht began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of the ETC Crimmitschau , for whose professional team he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2008/09 season . In his rookie year , he remained pointless in 16 games and received two penalty minutes. In subsequent years, the winger played regularly for the ETC Crimmitschau in the 2. Bundesliga, while in parallel in the 2008-09 season when ERV Chemnitz 07 in the Regional and 2009-2011 at EHV Schönheide 09 in the regional or league match practice collected.

Before the 2012/13 season, Georg Albrecht moved to ERV Chemnitz 07 from the Oberliga Ost and in January 2012 received a license to support the Dresdner Eislöwen from the 2nd Bundesliga. At the beginning of the 2013/2014 season, Georg Albrecht changes to EHV Schönheide 09 . In January 2015 Georg Albrecht moved to the Saale Bulls in Halle.
