Georg Anders (lawyer)

Georg Anders (born May 15, 1895 in Deutsch-Wilmersdorf ; † May 24, 1972 ) was a German lawyer and ministerial official, who was most recently an official state secretary in the Federal Ministry of the Interior from 1957 to 1962 .

Life

After attending school, Georg Anders completed a law degree at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . 1922 took place its graduation to the doctor of law at the Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Berlin. After the end of the Second World War , Anders became an employee of the personnel office of the administration of the United Economic Area . After the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany, he became an employee of the Federal Ministry of the Interior in 1949 and was there between 1949 and 1950 as head of Section II 5 ( Federal Civil Service Act, law based on Art. 131 GG, supply law) with the new version of civil service law . In 1950 he became head of the department for supply law, which was removed from it, and then between 1952 and 1953 he was head of subdivision IA (constitution and constitutional law) before he was ministerial director of department II (civil service law) from 1953 to 1957 . Among other things, he dealt with the law regulating the legal relationships of persons falling under Article 131 of the Basic Law , which regulates the legal status of civil servants who had been appointed to civil servants before May 8, 1945 in relation to the Federal Republic of Germany founded in 1949 .

As the successor to Karl Theodor Bleek , he was first official state secretary ("State Secretary II") in 1957 and then in 1960 as the successor to Hans von Lex Official State Secretary ("State Secretary I") in the Federal Ministry of the Interior, while Josef Hölzl succeeded him as "State Secretary II “Started. In 1962 he retired, whereupon Hans Schäfer was his successor as "State Secretary I".
