Georg Biehl

Georg Biehl (born July 26, 1845 in Munich ; † December 15, 1895 there ) was a sculptor, plasterer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Biehl attended elementary school and then took private school lessons in drawing. Later he was a student at a modeling school and the Munich Art Academy . He traveled extensively and worked in larger cities such as Berlin and Hamburg, and had been a freelance sculptor and plasterer business since 1870. From 1878 to 1881 he was a member of the Munich community council and from 1881 a member of the municipal authorities in his hometown. From 1881 to 1887 he was a member of the Bavarian House of Representatives for Munich, from then on sent to the state parliament by Augsburg II.

From 1884 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the Schwaben 1 constituency (Augsburg, Wertingen ) and the German Center Party .
