Georg Carl

Georg Carl (* 1870 in Hanover ; † 1920 ) was a German theater actor .

Life

Georg began his stage career in Dortmund in 1891 , then went to Metz (1893–1894), Basel (1895–1896), Milwaukee (1897–1898), Bremen (1899) and then joined the association of the Coburg-Gotha Court Theater .

In a so-called "real photo" - postcard from around 1910 from Gotha, Georg Carl presented as "Ducal court actor".

Georg Carl played the subject of young people until 1900 and then switched to the subject of the first heroes. The freshness and energy of his playing made the best impression. His excellent means and the careful use of them, his talent for characterization as well as his temperament and acting tact ensured him his success. He was successful as “Karl Moor”, “Ferdinand” in Kabale und Liebe , “Hutten” in “Daughter of Erasmus” .
