From 1967 to 1969 he completed a degree in special education at the Philipps University of Marburg . Georg Feuser received his doctorate in 1978 under Wolfgang Klafki at the University of Marburg. The topic of his dissertation is: Basics of a sociological-educational understanding of early childhood autism as the basis of pedagogy for autistic children.

In 1972 Feuser built the magazine "Disabled Education". position

Feuser is one of the main advocates of inclusive education . His research area is the development and conception of a general (integrative) pedagogy and development logic didactics . This pedagogy aims to educate people together: There is no separation between mentally handicapped students and "normal" students. Such a lesson should be realized through cooperation of the students at different levels of development on the common learning object. Georg Feuser's actions were shaped by many personal experiences, and he was also a critic of reform pedagogy.

Feuser's theories are based on an understanding of human development in the traditions of cultural-historical psychology and activity theory - based on Jean Piaget and René Spitz . Feuser is philosophically oriented towards Martin Buber and Marxism . On the basis of self-organization and a reception of constructivism , he describes the concept of intellectual disabilities as a social construction. From this point of view, Georg Feuser makes a radical criticism of the existing school system.

Based on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006), Georg Feuser demands that the education system teach all children in one school. His efforts contributed to school experiments on integration and inclusion being carried out in the state of Bremen in the 1980s. A cooperation model was introduced in which the separation between special schools and regular schools was retained.

In Feuser's film Michaela's Last Chance , therapeutic efforts of a mentally handicapped woman are documented from her point of view. The film sparked controversial discussion because of the footage. Another concept that Feuser has developed is Substituting Dialogic-Cooperative Action Therapy (SDKHT).
