Gottfried von Jacobi

Georg Gottfried von Jacobi (born October 10, 1869 in Berlin ; † 1947 there ) was a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official.

Life

Jacobi studied law at the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Universität and became active in the Corps Palatia Strasbourg in 1888 . After the state legal examinations, he became a court trainee in 1891 and a government trainee in 1893. In 1898 he headed the Congress of the Kosen Seniors Convents Association in Kosen . From 1904 to 1917 he was district administrator in the Quedlinburg district . From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Magdeburg 7 (Calbe - Quedlinburg - Aschersleben). In 1917 he became a go. Government councilor and in 1918 appointed lecturer in the Reich Office of the Interior . From 1919 to 1922 he headed asMinisterialrat the pension department of the Reich Ministry of the Interior . In 1922 he became President of the Reich Pension Office for the former Wehrmacht. Put into temporary retirement in 1924, he was elected to the supervisory board of the Beamten-Handels-Kreditbank. In 1933 he retired.
