Georg Helgerth

Georg Helgerth (* 1885 in Nuremberg ; † 1953 ibid) was a German wrestler .

Career

Georg Helgerth grew up in Nuremberg and began in his hometown, ASC "Sandow" 1892 Nuremberg with the rings . He developed into an excellent wrestler in Greco-Roman. Style. After he had already achieved some successes on a regional level, he started in 1909 for the first time at the German championship in Essen , which at that time was only held every three years. He presented himself in excellent shape and became German lightweight champion.
