Thomas Fettback

Thomas Fettback , OBE (born February 25, 1959 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer and politician ( SPD ).

Life

After studying law in Hamburg and Göttingen, he was head of the office at Singen am Hohentwiel for five years .

Lord Mayor

In 1994 Thomas Fettback was elected Lord Mayor of the large district town of Biberach an der Riss in Baden-Württemberg ; his third term would have ended after new elections in 2010 with a voter turnout of 40.8% in 2018. On Friday, April 27, 2012, he announced his resignation as soon as possible. Since January 7, 2013, Norbert Zeidler has been the new Lord Mayor of Biberach.

Fettback is married and has two children.

Honors

On May 9, 2005, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the end of the war in Guernsey, Thomas Fettback was appointed " Officer des Order of the ." For his services to the friendship between Biberach and the Channel Island of Guernsey British Empire ”honored.
