Georg Hessel

Georg Hessel (born July 22, 1980 ) is a German ice hockey player who currently plays in the Baden-Württembergliga at ESV Buchloe . Before that he was active in the Bavarian Ice Hockey League and in the DEL .

Career

The 1.78 m tall center began his career at ESV Kaufbeuren , for which he was on the ice in the third-class 2nd division in the 1998/99 season . In 1999 the left-handed shooter moved to the Adler Mannheim organization , where he played with the young eagles , the eagle junior team in the major league . Even with the professionals, Hessel was also used in the DEL in the same year .

In 2001 Hessel left the Adler in the direction of TSV Erding from the league , but after only one season he returned to Mannheim, where he played for the parent club of Adler Mannheim, the Mannheim ERC in the Baden-Württembergliga. In 2003 the striker signed a contract with the league club Stuttgart Wizards , for which he laced his skates over the next two years. For the 2005/06 season, Hessel finally returned to MERC. He has been playing for the Bavarian fourth division club ESV Buchloe since the 2008/09 season .
