Georg Mayerhofer

Georg Mayerhofer (born March 4, 1894 in Freyung / Bavarian Forest , † December 17, 1966 in Neumarkt-Sankt Veit ) was a German politician of the Bavarian Party .

In 1920 Mayerhofer set up shop in Neumarkt in Upper Bavaria as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery and as a film theater owner . He was one of the founders of the Bavarian Party and was elected district chairman. In the Mühldorf district council , he led the BP parliamentary group. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1949 to 1953. He was directly elected to parliament in the constituency of Altötting with 33.5% of the vote.
