Georg Plath

Georg Plath (born January 30, 1860 in Halle (Saale) , † January 18, 1948 in Erfurt ) was a German Protestant clergyman and local researcher.

Georg Plath, son of the theologian Karl Heinrich Christian Plath, was pastor in Liederstädt and Vitzenburg and dealt with the history of his parish. Then he was senior pastor and superintendent in Müelte . In 1907 he was pastor of the Biesdorf parish in the diocese of Berlin , and in the same year he was appointed superintendent .
