Georg Schwarz (born March 9, 1873 in Abenberg , † December 9, 1948 in Schweinfurt ) was a workers' secretary, newspaper expedition and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schwarz attended elementary school in Nuremberg for seven years , completed two semesters of commercial specialist courses there himself, attended business class evenings in Nuremberg and the social course in Munich-Gladbach . He trained as a decorative painter, then had to give up the business as an assistant due to an occupational disease, joined the expedition of a specialist journal and worked there as a travel agent for 15 years. From November 1905 he was head of the Christian workers' secretariat in Schweinfurt. From 1919 he was also district secretary and later second director in the Lower Franconian Christian Farmers' Association in Schweinfurt.

From 1905 to 1911 he was a member of the Center Party of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies . From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Lower Franconia 5 Schweinfurt , Haßfurt , Ebern and the German Center Party . From 1919 to 1920 and from 1924 to 1933 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the Bavarian People's Party .
