Georg Stiller
Johann Georg Stiller (* 9. February 1907 in Nuremberg ; † 11. March 1992 in Altdorf bei Nuremberg ) was a German politician of the CSU . Stiller was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1969. From 1963 to 1969 he was deputy chairman of the CSU regional group within the CDU / CSU parliamentary group.
Life
Stiller attended secondary school and then trained as a baker, which was followed by the master's examination. Until the Second World War he worked as an independent businessman. He took part in the Second World War as a soldier and after the end of 1945 he rebuilt his property, which had been destroyed.
politics
Stiller joined the CSU shortly after the war, in 1946. In 1952 he became chairman of the Nuremberg-Fürth district association and was an honorary city councilor in Nuremberg from 1949 to 1953. In the federal election in 1953 he was then elected to the German Bundestag via the CSU state list. He was a full member of the Committee on Reconstruction and Housing and was also a deputy member of the Committee on Load Balancing. After his re-election in the 1957 Bundestag elections , this time as a direct candidate for the Nuremberg constituency , he was a full member of the Bureau and Housing Committee. Another four years later, he was elected to the Bundestag for the third time in the 1961 Bundestag election , this time again via the CSU state list. He remained active in the committees of the previous term. Only after the federal election in 1965 , after which he returned to parliament via the state list, Stiller joined the committees for war damage and persecution damage and local politics, regional planning, urban development and housing.
