Georg von Hippel

Georg von Hippel (born May 22, 1802 in Marienwerder , † August 15, 1878 in Breslau ) was a Prussian administrative officer.

Life

Georg von Hippel was born as the son of the Prussian statesman Theodor Gottlieb von Hippel and Jeanette. von Gruszczyńska (1783–1840) born. He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1823 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1830 to 1831 he completed the government traineeship with the government in Opole . In 1831 he passed the government assessor exam. Immediately afterwards he became district administrator of the Pleß district . In 1853 he moved to the government in Gumbinnen as a councilor. Most recently he lived in Breslau .

Hippel was elected deputy to the Frankfurt National Assembly . From 1849 to 1851 he sat in the 2nd legislative period as a member of the constituency of Opole 5 in the Prussian House of Representatives and belonged to the center . At the end of the 2nd session he resigned from his mandate.

He married Countess Ulrike Therese Julie Christiane von Schwerin on March 5, 1832 (* February 28, 1808, † April 24, 1869). The couple had several children:

  • Georg Ludwig Alphons Ernst (* December 28, 1840 - † December 25, 1914), Corvette Captain ⚭ 1873 Countess Helene Mathilde Johann von Pfeil and Klein-Ellguth (* August 17, 1850)
