Georges Garvarentz
Diran Georges Garvarentz , Armenian Ժորժ Տիրան Կառվարենց (born April 1, 1932 in Athens , Greece , † March 19, 1993 in Aubagne , France ) was an Armenian- French composer and arranger .
Life
Gravarentz was born in Athens as the son of Armenian immigrants. His father was the teacher and poet Kevork Garaventz. He was the brother-in-law of Charles Aznavour , for whom he wrote and arranged numerous chansons .
