action

Noble thief Marcel has 20 million gambling debts with his cronies. A perfect, strategically sophisticated attack on a large department store on December 24th is supposed to eliminate the worry about paying them. The cash robbery is carried out with an elevator operator, a mechanic and a pimp disguised as Santa Claus. Obstacles after obstacles worry Marcel and his cronies. The booty is stolen by young amateurs, brought back, softened - because the millions literally fell into a bucket full of glue - and then - here the noble whore Ida proves to be very useful - dried. But the police can find out about the stupid crooks. For Marcel and Ida this means that they have to wait a little longer with their wedding.

Reviews

The lexicon of international films succinctly notes that the work is “an over -the- top crime comedy with amusing ideas.” The Protestant film observer draws the following conclusion: “A little comedy about a crook quartet. There is no saving in gags, and Jean-Claude Brialy as Marcel hits the right note for this role. The camera tried to be a bit mannered, but managed to achieve the intended laughing effect. A little film for two hours of relaxation. ”The state film evaluation agency Wiesbaden awarded the work the title“ Valuable ”.
