Bernard Verley
Bernard Verley (born October 4, 1939 in Lille ) is a French film and theater actor .
Life
Bernard Verley studied the fine arts in Lille, learned the craft of theater acting under Charles Dullin and Jean Vilar at the Théâtre National Populaire (TNP). As early as the mid-seventies he devoted himself increasingly to film. Since the year 2000 he has increased his presence on the theater stage again in old age.
His younger brother, Renaud Verley, is also an actor. Bernard Verley and his wife Françoise Verley played a couple in the film “Love in the Afternoon”, the last film in the Eric Rohmer cycle “Six Moral Tales”.
