Georges Serge Grün (born January 25, 1962 in Schaarbeek ) is a former Belgian football player . He currently works as a presenter at RTL TVI , where he presents the UEFA Champions League games .
Life
Grün began his professional career in 1983 at RSC Anderlecht , for which he played in the Pro League until 1990 . After the 1990 World Cup , he moved to the Italian Serie A for AC Parma . In 1994 he returned to RSC Anderlecht, in 1996 he went to AC Reggiana . However, the team was knocked off last with only two wins of the season in Serie A and Green ended his career.
Green was a Belgian international between 1984 and 1995 . With 77 internationals, he is the sixth most popular Belgian international. He scored six international goals, one made him famous: the decisive goal in the qualifier for the 1986 World Cup against the Netherlands . He participated in three world championships: 1986, 1990 and 1994 . He also played at the 1984 European Championship .
