Georges Rigal (born January 6, 1890 in Paris , † March 25, 1974 ) was a French swimmer and water polo player.
Rigal first took part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, where he was able to qualify for the final round in the 100 m freestyle discipline , but then had no chance there. He was also a member of the water polo team, which was eliminated in the first round after a 2: 7 against Sweden.
At the Olympic Games in 1924 he again took part with the French national team in water polo, where they reached the finals after victories against the United States, the Netherlands and Sweden again. There they met Belgium, which he defeated 3-0 with his team-mates Paul Dujardin , Henri Padou , Albert Deborgies , Noël Delberghe , Robert Desmettre and Albert Mayaud . This gold medal was the only one in his career.
