Georgetown is a city in South Carolina in the United States and the county seat of Georgetown County . The third oldest city in South Carolina, steeped in history, is located on Winyah Bay at the end of the famous Grand Strand holiday area on the Atlantic Ocean and has the state's second largest seaport .
