Georgia Germein is an Australian pop singer ( singer-songwriter ) from Adelaide . She performs solo (vocals, guitar / piano) and with her two sisters Ella (bass / synthesizer, background vocals) and Clara (drums, background vocals).

biography

Georgia grew up in the Adelaide Hills countryside . She has participated in numerous charity drives. She worked as a youth ambassador for World Vision 2010 in the Kalahari , South Africa , and in Nepal .

Georgia has won multiple awards including seven ASME Young Composers Awards. In 2007 she received the South Australian Premiers Award and, as a semi-finalist, the International Songwriting Competition. In 2009 she was the national winner of the Young Bloods Radio Competition of the radio station Nova . Georgia released her debut album Take My Hand in late 2010.

In 2010 and 2011 she successfully toured Australia and with her sisters as The Germein Sisters through Malaysia and South Australia .

In 2013 the Germein Sisters released their debut album Because You Breathe , which was recorded in Ireland with producers The Corrs and Sinéad O'Connor , with Sharon Corr of The Corrs involved. The Germein Sisters served as the opening act of the Northern Irish singer-songwriter Brian Kennedy involved in his tour in Australia in 2013.

In 2013 Georgia Germein performed with her sisters in Germany. Since then, the Germein Sisters have toured the UK, Germany and Switzerland annually. In 2017 they also gave concerts on the holiday island of Mallorca.
