Gerald Lorenz

Gerald Lorenz (born December 2, 1937 in Berlin ) is a former German politician ( SPD ).

Lorenz attended grammar school and graduated from high school in 1956 . He studied electrical engineering and industrial engineering . He later became a freelance interpreter and career advisor . In 1967 he joined the SPD. In 1971 Lorenz became managing director of a wholesale company and two years later chairman of the SPD Schöneberg . In 1974 he switched to a retail company as a commercial clerk . In the Berlin election in 1975 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. In 1980 Lorenz handed over the chairmanship of the SPD Schöneberg to Otto Edel , in the same year he became the owner of a company. In 1985 he left parliament.
