Geraldo Dantas de Andrade SCI (born September 29, 1931 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Roman Catholic religious and auxiliary bishop emeritus in São Luís do Maranhão .

Life

Geraldo Dantas de Andrade joined the Congregation of Dehonians at and received on 18 December 1957, the priestly ordination .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on February 18, 1998 auxiliary bishop in São Luís do Maranhão and titular bishop of Cibaliana . The Archbishop of São Luís do Maranhão, Paulo Eduardo Andrade Ponte , donated him episcopal ordination on April 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were José Nelson Westrupp SCI, Bishop of São José dos Campos , and Xavier Gilles de Maupeou d'Ableiges , Bishop of Viana .

On September 15, 2010, Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
