The Diocese of São José dos Campos ( Latin Dioecesis Sancti Iosephi in Brasilia , Portuguese Diocese of Sao Jose dos Campos ) is an in Brazil located Roman Catholic Diocese with headquarters in Sao Jose dos Campos in the state of São Paulo .
history
The diocese of São José dos Campos was established on January 30, 1981 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Qui in Beati Petri from ceding territories from the dioceses of Mogi das Cruzes and Taubaté and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Aparecida as a suffragan .
