Gerd-Dieter Mirtl (born September 24, 1944 ) is an Austrian lawyer , business economist , auditor and tax advisor .

Live and act

He graduated from high school in Linz, studied law and business administration at the University of Vienna and at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and received his doctorate in 1969. Until the end of March 2005, Mirtl was a partner at KPMG auditing and tax consulting company, where he worked from 1980. Due to his function as chairman of the supervisory board of the listed HTI High Tech Industries AG, his statements about the company were of media interest.
