Gerd Leienbach (* 15. March 1946 ) is a German radio presenter and former pop singer ( " Julians Darc ") and comedian .

Life

Gerd Leienbach attended the Landrat-Lucas-Schule I grammar school in Opladen until 1966 . In the 1970s he sang as Iljan Darc Schlager and released several singles.

From 1975 Leienbach was a presenter at SWF 3 and invented its logo, the Black Forest elch, as well as the radio comics with characters such as "Knut Buttnase" and "Our Mr. Schniepelpuhl with his oil can".

From 1981 to 1984 he worked as a comedian on the ARD television program Bananas . From 1988 to 1990 he formed a duo with Axel Breit , which placed some German hit parodies on singles such as Der blonde Hans von der Bundesbahn in the German charts under the name “ Fix & Ready ” and in 1989 an album named after the music group published. Gerd Leienbach took over the vocal part.

Leienbach also worked as a moderator and producer on RPR1 and RPR Zwei.
