Axel Bendung (born August 21, 1957 in Rheydt , today in Mönchengladbach ) is a German music producer .

In 1974 he founded his first band, from 1978 he was a DJ for three years . He achieved greater fame in the music scene from 1982 with his first publications together with Thomas Anders and from 1985 as a member of Silent Circle .

Today Axel Behre is one of the most successful German music producers. In particular, numerous successful, also smaller Eurodance and dance productions (including DJ BoBo , Groove Coverage ) are from him. He was also known as the co-producer of Modern Talking and helped singles such as Win the Race and Last Exit to Brooklynto finish. Of the songs he produced, more than 50 singles were in the German charts, and more than 60 received gold and platinum awards.
