Gerhard Fidelak (born May 10, 1943 ; † December 15, 2012 in Schwerin ) was a German volleyball coach .

From 1964 to 1994, Gerhard Fidelak was a trainer in the GDR at SC Traktor Schwerin for thirty years and after the fall of the Wall in 1990 at Schweriner SC . He was seven times GDR champion and four times FDGB cup winner . He also won the 1975 UEFA Cup Winners 'Cup and the 1978 European Champion Clubs' Cup . Gerhard Fidelak produced many great players like Andrea Heim , Karla Roffeis , Martina Schmidt , Anke Westendorf , Ute Steppin , Dörte Techel , Sylvia Roll and Christina Schultz , who were very successful in the club and the GDR national team .
