Gerhard Hanloser

Gerhard Walter Hanloser (* 1972 ) is a social scientist and journalist from Freiburg im Breisgau .

Hanloser wrote in numerous newspapers and magazines, for example in Junge Welt , Jungle World , iz3w sheets , Neues Deutschland , wildcat , Stattzeitung für Südbaden . Historical contributions can be found in: Archive for the history of resistance and work and in Sozial.Geschichte Online .

He has published numerous articles and books on the topics of Marxist and critical theory , theories of antagonism, history and criticism of left movements and on the subject of anti-Semitism .

From 2002 to 2012 he was a lecturer in the sociology of religion at the Freiburg University of Applied Sciences for the training of community officers (Margarethe Ruckmich Haus) .

He became known as a historian of the new left and a critic of the " anti-Germans " and took part in the debate on "left anti-Semitism". Hanloser has been working as a history, German and social studies teacher at a Berlin comprehensive school since 2013 .
