Gerhard Kulitze
Gerhard Kulitze (born April 3, 1927 in Märzdorf; † April 27, 2008 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German soccer player and soccer coach.
Athletic career
Kulitze fell in World War II in a prisoner of war , he returned from the 1948 to his family in their new home in Halle (Saale). He then played at ZSG Union Halle , which won the soccer east zone championship in 1949 . In the final, however, Kulitze was not called up. In the 1951/52 season he became the GDR football champion with the BSG Turbine Halle, which had emerged from the ZSG Union Halle . In the decisive game on April 20, 1952, Kulitze succeeded in the interim equalization goal before Knefler succeeded in the winning goal that Halle secured the championship. From 1953 he played with Holstein Kiel in the Oberliga Nord .
In 1955 Kulitze returned to Halle, which also meant the end of his active football career. This was followed by coaching stations in Nachterstedt , Amsdorf , Müelte (Geiseltal) and Bitterfeld, among others .
