Gerhard Laber

Gerhard Laber (* 1946 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian musician and percussive sound performer .

Life

From 1978 to 1983 he gave jazz seminars at the Remscheid Academy , was almost simultaneously between 1980 and 1995 lecturer at the study center for contemporary music in Burghausen and 1979–2007 teacher for percussive instrumentalization at the Upper Austrian regional music school, then 2007–2012 lecturer for rhythm for classical musicians "Rhythm" und Fantasy "in Mühldorf am Inn In
2009, together with Werner Raditschnig, he led the" Silence "project in the Maxglan elementary school in collaboration with" Toihaus "Salzburg.

On February 16, 1999, the premiere of the cabaret program "heimat @abend" with Christian Wallner , Gerhard Laber & Hannes Scheutz took place. In 2005 he celebrated the 25th anniversary of the MotzArt cabaret as a founding member
