Gerhard Pecl (born April 17, 1955 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Pecl played for Wuppertaler SV for ten years . On the last day of the 1974/75 season , he played his only Bundesliga game in a 3-3 draw against 1. FC Kaiserslautern . With the WSV, Gerd Pecl was relegated from the bottom of the table in the Bundesliga and from then on played in the 2nd Bundesliga . After five years and 122 second division appearances, he suffered another descent in 1979/80 . With the Wuppertal players he went to the North Rhine Oberliga . Coach Rolf Müller , who knew the defender from WSV times, brought Pecl to 1. FC Bocholt in 1982 , with whom he won the league title in 1983/84 . In 1984 Gerd Pecl moved to the league promoted VfL Rhede , where he let his career end.
