Gerit Winnen

Gerit Winnen (born December 13, 1974 in Offenburg ) is a German handball player .

Winnen began with handball as a child at TuS Hofweier . With TV 08 Willstätt , Winnen made it from the regional league to the 1st handball league . He then played at the Stralsund HV . In the summer of 2001 he moved to TuS Nettelstedt-Lübbecke, where the crowd favorite once again made it to the first division twice, in the 2003/04 season even with a unique record of 68: 0 points. From there he went back to his home country after the season for SG Willstätt-Schutterwald, where he was active for one season and went to SG Bietigheim-Metterzimmer for the 2005/06 season . After the 2007/08 season he ended his career in professional handball due to a serious knee injury. Gerit Winnen has been the sports director of the SG BBM Bietigheim Bundesliga women team since June 1, 2011.
