The Germeringer See is an artificial lake in the area of the town of Germering in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck in Upper Bavaria , Germany. The lake is located at the foot of the Parsberg in the immediate vicinity of the Parsberg castle stable . In 1971 it was created as a swimming lake and expanded into a recreation area in 1976. The water is 2.5 hectares and 6 m deep. Natural springs at the bottom of the lake feed the lake with water, it has no inlet. On the south-east bank there is a small reed belt that serves to keep the water clean, on its north-west bank there are two wet areas that are designated as biotopes .

The lake is classified as EU bathing water and is part of a local recreation area in the city of Germering, which has a total area of around 10.5 hectares, 3 of which are tree-lined lawns. There is a water watch, a kiosk and leisure facilities for basketball, soccer and beach volleyball, as well as a playground and a barbecue area.

In 2009 some of the trout used died of the VHS fish epidemic , a disease that is harmless to humans. The lake was then fished on the recommendation of the veterinary office and no new fish were introduced in the same year.
