Gernand Graf Grote
Gernand Alexander Albert Otto Graf Grote (born September 20, 1870 in Wiegersen , † March 11, 1950 in Blumendorf ) was a German court official.
Life
Gernand Graf Grote was the son of the royal Hanoverian ambassador Adolf von Grote and Marie nee. Jenisch. After attending high school in Bückeburg he studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn Law . In 1890 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he became court marshal and court hunter of Ernst August von Hanover, Duke of Cumberland in his Austrian exile in Gmunden . Grote was married to Karen von Holstein-Rathlou, from whom he was divorced.
