Gerold Jäggle (* 1961 in Ertingen ) is a German sculptor.

life and work

Gerold Jäggle studied from 1982 to 1987 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart . From 1997 to 1998 he was invited by the Henry Moore Foundation to teach at the Royal College of Art in London . In 2000 Jäggle took part in the European Sculptor Symposium in Oggelshausen .

Gerold Jäggle lives and works in Ertingen and Stuttgart . He has transformed the former fire station into a workshop and foundry studio.

His main focus is on sculpture - for exhibitions, squares, gardens or as a fountain. Metal casting is often used. Depending on which concept a work is based on, he also uses other materials. Movement in his work is important to him, as is deep humor, constant curiosity and the instinct to play.

His work can be seen in many collections and museums, including the Palais Elysée in Paris and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. The main focus of his work is in southern Germany between Main and Lake Constance, where he participates in competitions, symposia and exhibitions.
